Maidens Quest Ministries - Update...

Dear Daughters of Vision,

We are about to embark on the first of our back to back Maidens Quest Conferences tomorrow! This weekend we will be in Sugar Land and next weekend we will be heading for San Antonio! There are many last minute details that need to be attended to. We praise the Lord for giving us the strength and grace to complete each task and know that apart from Him, all is in vain.

I am posting below, a letter that was sent out to many, by my fellow laborer in the ministry, Katrina. This letter details the prayer requests that we feel the Lord has placed on our hearts!

Thank you for being such wonderful prayer warriors and we look forward to seeing what God is going to do in our lives and in the lives of those who attend!

Below are some pictures of our retreat we had in Virginia. This will give you an idea of what Maidens Quest Ministries is all about!

Rejoicing In Him,

Dear Faithful Prayer Team,
Well, the time has come once again to ask for your prayers on behalf of Maiden's Quest Ministries! For the next two weekends, on October 17-18 and on the 24-25, we will be holding MQ retreats. The first one will take place here in the Houston area (Sugar Land) and the second will be just north of San Antonio. The only reason they are so crazily scheduled one week apart is because of Hurricane Ike causing us to cancel what would have been a September retreat and reschedule in October.
As you can probably guess, we desperately need your prayer support, even if just for the sheer reason of going into two conferences back-to-back! There is still much to be done, but I am finding God's grace to be sufficient to carry me, and I haven't gotten overwhelmed yet. :-) Praise His Name!
Here are our specific requests for both retreats:
~ That God would prepare the hearts of all who are attending, both mothers and daughters, to receive from Him during these upcoming weekends.
~ For the salvation of any who are not Christians.
~ That each girl would be encouraged and inspired to seek the Lord whole heartedly and pursue His best in her life.
~ For unity amongst our leadership team and with our local hostess teams.
~ For beautiful weather both weeks.
~ For health and safety of all involved.
~ For smoothness in running electronics.
~ For Tara's voice to stay strong and not get hoarse as it often does during retreat weekends.
~ For Satan and his demons to be prayed against in the mighty name of Jesus.
~ For God's peace in these final days of preparation.
~ For Jesus to receive the glory due His Name.
Thank you all, my dear, dear friends!
I don't know what we would do without you providing your faithful prayer support!
May God bless each one of you richly!
Love in Him,

Tara and Kelly,

You are in my prayers, dear ones! May the Lord bless you with His wisdom, fill you with His strength, and anoint you with His Spirit! I know that HE has great things in store!

"I know that, whatsoever God doeth, it shall be for ever: nothing can be put to it, nor any thing taken from it: and God doeth it, that men should fear before him." Eccl. 3:14

With so much love to you in Jesus,
