The Storms of Life...

Dear Friends,

Greetings in the Lord! Has your family ever had a week that was so busy it looked almost impossible? Well, we are living one of those weeks right now! I won’t go through our schedule, but will share a few things with you. Tara has spent a great deal of time this week in prayer and preparation for a talk she was asked to give for a group of young ladies at a Valentine’s Banquet around noon Friday. She has such a burden to say just what the Lord would have her share. Your prayers would be appreciated! With wonderful opportunities comes great responsibility! The Lord is giving us many opportunities to play and sing this weekend for a wedding rehearsal, wedding, church and a wedding shower.

On another note, last night we were awakened by a really frightening storm. Maybe we are just a little paranoid right now :) when we hear the trees swaying violently, the rain pounding down and the thunder and lightning. Mom couldn’t sleep so she spent some special time in prayer, roaming the house ready to catch any trees that tried to fall on us.:) Blessedly, Elizabeth slept through the whole thing. This morning we awoke to beautiful sunny skies and cooler weather. We enjoyed our time in Romans and special prayer time before dad left for work. Each day we pick someone that God has laid on one of our hearts to pray for. Later, I walked by Elizabeth’s room and I just had to grab my camera to capture the beautiful sight I saw. I wish all children could spend some special time each morning growing closer to their Lord. Blessings, Kelly
