Girl's Encouragement Day! #7

Today we had our 7th girl's group meeting! We studied the Scripture in Gal. 6:7-9 that says..."Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not." We challenged the girls to really think through the kinds of seeds that they're planting in their lives right now. Are they good seeds or bad seeds and what kind of harvest will they reap?
Contemplating on my own life, I know the choice I have made to obey and honor my parents and love my siblings has reaped a wonderful harvest of strong, healthy relationships that bring glory to God!
We have to think long term, girls! Remember: the choices we are making today will determine the kind of harvest we will have someday. What is your harvest going to look like?

In keeping with the theme...we painted flower pots and tied them with bright colored ribbion! I bought some sparkly gem stickers to represent seeds and at the very end, each young lady picked their favorite "seed" and put it on their pot to remind them of the seeds that they're planting right now.
