The Rewards!!!

The reward of my effort is the finished product of a new dress to add to my wardrobe!
I am very satisfied with the way that this dress has turned out. This was a brand new pattern that I had never made before, but I am glad that it was a success!
It is very cool and breezy to wear, a very fun dress for the warm area we live in! :-)

Welcome to our site, Erica.
That's right, this is definitely not New England. We live in deep, deep south Texas and it sure is hot and humid!

Kyla, Kelly used Simplicity #2882.
She raised the neckline 2 inches which was very easy to do. If any of you don't know how, we'd be very happy to show you.

Malia, Thank you for the encouragement. You are a joy and encouragement to us also.

Hello!
Thank you very much!
Yes, I think you should make one!
I used a linen imitation/look alike fabric. It is actually rayon/polyester, but doesn't wrinkle as bad as linen does. Hope you have fun with this possible project!!!
Blessings,
Kelly

Hi girls,
We love this dress and would like to make it in March. We found the pattern, but we also want the neckline raised. Would you please copy and paste those directions for us, too? Thank you!! If you have any other helpful tips, we would appreciatie it!
Thank you,
Gail and Jessica
