Change

We hope all of you have had a wonderful summer and have grown
greatly in your relationship with the Lord. Most of our little siblings
are starting back on their schoolwork and there is a lot of change in
all our lives.

Hello, Tara,

My name is Gail Nero and my oldest daughter is Amanda. We live in Georgia. We met you at the 2008 WILDS Music Conference (no, we don't expect you to remember). :)
Amanda found your blog about 4 or 5 weeks ago using a link from the "Do Hard Things" website. She was very excited to recognize you.
I wanted to let you know that your blog has been a wonderful source of inspiration and encouragement for our girls. Of course, I like it, too!
I am so glad that you focus on what is important! Also, I will say that I am so pleased that you stick with the KJ Bible. That is of utmost importance to us, and so hard to find on a blog for young ladies!
So, know that we are here, and we are cheering you on in your precious ministry. I hope you and your sisters will continue with it, no matter what changes come your way. :)

Several people have asked for this
recipe, so here it is!!!!1

Cinnamon Rolls

2 T. shortening
1/4 c. sugar
2/3 c. milk at room temperature
1 pkt. yeast ( about 1 T.)
1 egg
1/4 c. oil
1/2 c. potato starch
1/4 t. baking soda
1 c. cornstarch
2 1/2 t. xanthan gum
2 t. baking powder
1/2 t. salt
1 t. vanilla

For counter: 2 T. sugar

For filling: 1 cup brown sugar
1 1/4 t. cinnamon

For glaze: 3/4 c. powdered sugar
1 1/2 T. milk
few drops of vanilla

Preheat oven to 375. Mix shortening and sugar well. Add milk to yeast. Mix well to fully dissolve. Add milk/yeast to sugar mixture. Add remaining ingredients. Mix very well, being sure to remove all lumps. Dough will be very soft.
Sprinkle sugar on counter. Place dough on top of counter. Pat dough out to 13 1/2 X 13 1/2
inch square.
Combine brown sugar and cinnamon. Spread evenly across dough. Roll up dough to form a long cylinder. The moist dough ensures a moist roll. Cut into 9 slices.
Place rolls in a greased 9x9 pan. Bake approximately 20 minutes or till light brown.
Combine powdered sugar, milk and vanilla. Stir until all lumps are dissolved. Drizzle over
warm rolls.
Enjoy!!

Blessings,

Tara, Kelly and Elizabeth Joy

Yikes! I'm afraid all of you think I'm hinting at something. I'll tell you what, when I have big news I'll make it loud and clear, no hinting!
I am daily enjoying the blessed opportunity of getting to know better the young man God has for my life. Many blessings, Tara

Sorry Tara! :) We're just so excited about all this amazing change with your courtship, that we got a bit ahead of ourselves (and ahead of you too! :))
Much love,
The Bridges

Dearest Bridges,
As you are the sweetest family on the face of the earth, I can overlook
your great enthusiasm! But keep up that exuberance! We love you dearly.
