First, we encouraged them to make a priority of their time in
the Word. We were just reminded Sunday that the Bible is
the mind of Christ! It is God's Word that changes lives.
We can appear to change without it, but it will only be a surface change.
Next, we encouraged the girls to be energy givers. Following this
advice will change their lives, their homes, and everyone's life around them.
We also talked about having a love for your home and a willingness to
please the Lord by serving others cheerfully.
It is one thing to hear God's Word and understand it with our minds. It is God's plan that we would hear His Word, submit to it and allow it to change our hearts and lives. James 1: 22 and 25 "Be ye doers of the word and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.""But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed." ~Posted by Picasa

There aren't too many young ladies these days that are an encouragement to the younger girls. I wish you lived in our area and could speak to our girls. Julie
