The Lord's Tender Mercies

What a joyous occasion we have all been celebrating!
After waiting and waiting and waiting, the day finally dawned bright and clear.
We don't have too many pictures since our dad was not the photographer this time around!
Finally we can show you the dresses we have been sewing for the last few months.
The very joyful and happy bride!

A song of blessing from the attendants.

One very special family friend of ours had flown all the way from Montana. All weekend we just kept hearing him say "Isn't God merciful?" and that just about sums up the whole time.
God, in His tender mercy brought two people together who are so perfectly suited for each other.
He did it at just the right time and in just the right way.
All that was left for us was to marvel at His goodness.
The recessional.

The very beachy cake with the sand castle on top.

The Groom's cake!

May we introduce to you, Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Craig!

We are still spending time with relatives in a time of great rejoicing over all that God has done!
We'll get some more pictures soon and I'm sure we'll have lots to talk about.
Let's just praise the Lord for this precious couple who have vowed before all these witnesses that only death will separate them. The Lord's mercies are new every morning!

Thank you for sharing the pictures!!! I thought of you all Saturday and prayed that things would go well - it looks like they did! Beautiful sewing jobs. Even more beautiful bride and testimony of purity for the Lord. Thank you so much, Tara, for waiting for God's best as an example for younger girls. What a blessing!!

Did you sew Tara's dress? The wedding was wonderful. It was amazing to see two godly people be joined in marriage.

A heartfelt thanks to all of you.
What a special time!
No Carissa, we did not make Tara's dress but Mom did modify it to make it more modest.

Thank you so much for doing a post!!! Here in WA, some of us watched the wedding online until just after the bride's entrance, before we had to leave for my own sister's bridal shower! We will be watching the whole thing again, though! We look forward to seeing Stephen and Tara when they come for Sarah and Stephen's wedding! :-)

Thank you very much for posting pictures and writing about the wedding! I am so thankful that Dad and I were able to come down for the wedding and rejoice with you all in what the Lord has done!! The whole weekend was one of praising our Lord for His goodness, rejoicing in His mercies, and thanking Him for His faithfulness! Tara and Stephen's wedding was truly a joyful occasion that will remain in my memory banks for years to come!

"It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning: Great Is Thy Faithfulness." - Lam. 2:22-23

Love from Montana!

Kelly, thank you for posting this so promptly! My mom and I both watched the wedding and said how beautiful and sweet everything was! You will definitely have to post more pictures when you get them! :)
The thing that causes me to rejoice so much in their marriage is that you know that God has truly put them together!
We have been studying this month about the importance of building your family on the rock of Jesus Christ and I believe and pray that Stephen and Tara will raise such a family!
Thank you for allowing the Lord to use you to bless and encourage other young ladies!
